Loaded Meat Sauce

This quick & easy meat sauce can serve as a topping for a variety of foods. I like to put it on top of spaghetti squash or zoodles for quick & easy lunch or dinner. It freezes well, so do yourself a favor and make a big batch!

Ingredients

  • 1lb ground beef
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 bell peppers (any color), diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 15oz can fire roasted diced tomatoes
  • 1 6oz can tomato paste

Instructions:

1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef. When the beef is almost fully cooked, drain the fat.

2. Add onion, bell peppers, and garlic to the skillet and cook until vegetables are tender.

3. Add diced tomatoes and tomato paste and stir well to incorporate everything. Continue to cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes to let the flavors blend together.

4. Serve over your favorite pasta alternative or freeze for later!
