Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
 - 1 medium onion, chopped
 - 4 cloves garlic, chopped
 - 1 (6oz) can tomato paste
 - 1/4c vegetable broth
 - 2 (20oz) cans whole peeled tomatoes, crushed in a food processor
 - 2 tbsp raw honey
 - 1 tsp sea salt
 - 1/4 tsp black pepper
 - 2 tbsp parmesan cheese
 - 3 tbsp freshly chopped basil
 
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium high heat.
 - Add onion, cooking until translucent (5-7 minutes).
 - Add garlic, tomato paste, and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly and being careful not to let the tomato paste burn.
 - Add broth and stir for another 2-3 minutes.
 - Add tomatoes, honey, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
 - Reduce heat and gently boil, stirring occasionally for 2-3 minutes.
 - Add parmesan cheese, and cook for 1 hour.
 - Add basil and stir well.
